Brick Addition in Ranelagh - John Monahan Architect

Although simple and to the point, this small extension on a typical Ranelagh redbrick terrace has some nifty little features we love. It comes from John Monahan of Noji Architects (check out their Facebook page for further inspiration).

You can see a few photos of the job (and vote) over at www.architectureawards.ie but to get the full picture check out their own post on Facebook (‘Like’ them while you are there!):

It’s the lighting that really turns this simple brick extension into a wonderful kitchen space.
The outside lighting on the mature trees and gardens warms the whole environment. And what an beautiful coach house too!
Inside is a combination of cool Scandinavian style furnishings and creatively contrasting ebony-ivory fitted units and worktops.
