Buyers Wanted for new TV Show – with Liz O’Kane & Michael Fry

Animo TV and Virgin Media are looking for hopeful homebuyers to appear on a new show called “How To Buy A Home”. Prospective first time buyers are to be guided through their search for a first home with the help of expert Buyer’s Agent, Liz O’Kane. The show will see a dozen couples and individual buyers as they search for homes and hopefully are successful in securing a property, with Liz’s expert help

Liz was Ireland’s first dedicated Buyer’s Agent. She started her business in 2002, helping act for buyers instead of the typical agent who works on behalf of sellers. At the time, no one else in Ireland was “acting exclusively as an agent for the purchaser to source and negotiate their new home”. Liz quickly picked up a reputation for expertise and a great presenting style, being asked to RTÉ’s “House Hunters” with Dermot Bannon and “House Hunters in the Sun” for seven seasons. She is a regular pundit and property expert on Ireland AM. [Great interview with her here]

The show is also going to be hosted by the hilarious Michael Fry, currently on RTE2’s “Don’t Worry If Not”. The comedian will give the show a unique voice, but hopefully he’s leaving the property advice to the experts…

Why you should apply?

It may seem daunting for home buyers to put their life in the hands, and on camera, of a TV crew. But having an expert team at your back could just give you the edge on finding your perfect future home, and might find properties not available to anyone else.
