Waterlogged to Weedless
Shane O’Dea Landscapes were called in to help an homeowner who was struggling with the upkeep of their small back garden.
The garden was sloping and becoming waterlogged near the paving at the house, the lawn was full of weed and the client also had a problem with getting the lawn mower out of the shed.
Tiers and Artificial Grass
Shane decided to take the slope away by putting in 2 tiers. The top one in paving and the second larger one in artificial grass so the owners would not need need a mower but still had a nice, green looking lawn.
Artificial grass is a fantastic product that we are seeing all over Ireland now. It’s largely maintenance free, mess free for kids and animals, and relatively inexpensive.
Railway sleeper style timber was used to create a step and granite setts were used to edge the grass and paving area. The stone used is ‘Camel Dust’ Indian sandstone, the setts are 8×4 yellow granite. All materials came from The Patio Centre in Cabinteely.
